Extended reality (XR) combines augmented reality and virtual reality, meaning that nearly all forms of technologically-supplemented reality fall under the XR umbrella.
Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that lets people superimpose digital content (images, sounds, text) over real-life scenes. Although this technology has been around for a long time, it still has some entry barriers. Currently, only high-end devices support AR-based applications. This barrier limits the AR users due to the cost of supported devices.
Virtual reality (VR) creates a completely virtual environment that allows users to immerse themselves in an alternate universe. VR can be experienced using a VR headset such as Oculus, HTC Vive and many others. The cheapest VR gear has been the google cardboard VR box.
Current Non-Fungible Token Industry
The Non-fungible token industry is flooded with various NFTs with little to no functionality. excluding the metadata. NFTs can be regarded as another smart contract token that takes less than 5 minutes to deploy on the blockchain. Metadata provides rich content to a token but the utility is still very small.
With the current ongoing NFT trend, the blockchain space has seen lots of projects integrating NFTs into their ecosystem even though they have little to no utility for the token. They just issue them and abandon them due to lack of utility.
NFT in Art
One area in which non-fungible tokens have been playing a major role is the art industry. Various art projects have been successful in integrating NFT into art work with some NFT-based artwork selling for millions of dollars.
Although this sector has been lucrative, Citizen Finance still thinks more can be done to make NFT-based artwork less than just a blockchain token and more like an interactive artwork.
Introducing Powa X
Powa X is an extended reality based application that introduces immersive experiences to NFT-based artwork. Art collectors will be able to create immersive experiences such as; taking pictures, making videos, art exhibitions, immersive sales and many other things with their artwork. NFTs can be a 3D (animated or non animated) model or an image file.
On the path to continue making our applications accessible, Powa X will not only support Android and iOS devices, but it will also be available on web browser. Users with non-supported devices will be able to take advantage of the web based version of Powa X

Supported NFTs
Powa X will support items that are created as part of a Gallery on Santa Fe. Items created on CifiPowa (POWA) default gallery will also be supported on Powa X but can not be used for events.
The application is expected to grow into a cross-chain platform to support NFTs from other public blockchains such as Ethereum, Polkadot, Tron and other NFT supported blockchains.
